Gyeongsangnam-do Engages in Investment and Economic Collaboration Talks with Delegations from the Americas
- Gyeongsangnam-do welcomed 15 economic delegations, among them the General Federation of Korean American Chamber of Commerce USA

The Gyeongsangnam-do Provincial Government (Governor Park Wan-su) announced that an economic delegation from Orange County, California, including representatives from the Korean American Chamber of Commerce USA (KACCUSA; President Ted Kyung-chul Lee), visited the province to explore avenues for promoting investment and economic collaboration.
On the 22nd, Vice Governor of Economic Affairs Kim Myung-ju held discussions with the economic delegation, comprising 15 members representing various entities such as KACCUSA, the Orange County Chamber of Commerce and Small Business Administration, the California State University College of Business and Economics, and local entrepreneurs from California, at the provincial government office.
This marks the third visit to the province, following prior visits in November 2022 and February 2023, during which discussions were held with KACCUSA regarding plans for sustained and substantial investment, support for business entry, and economic collaboration.
KACCUSA proposed Gyeongsangnam-do's participation in the upcoming 1st K-Global Expo scheduled for April next year in Duluth, Atlanta, U.S. The K-Global Expo is a comprehensive business event featuring a venture capital forum, startup contest, one-on-one business counseling, corporate exhibitions, and a global CEO forum.
Gyeongsangnam-do Vice Governor of Economic Affairs Kim Myung-ju said, "We extend our best wishes for the success of the K-Global Expo in Atlanta next year, and we assure you of providing active collaboration. We will persist in our efforts for ongoing cooperation and mutual development with overseas Koreans.”
