Translation and interpretation for initial consultations on family life and cultural differences between countries upon entry into Korea
Support for the settlement of marriage migrants, guidance on nationality and residency, and interpretation of projects offered
Translation and interpretation of guidance and counseling content on pregnancy, childbirth, parenting, and other life information
Support for school-age children's life
Support for educational program translation and interpretation
Interpretation for family communication
Translation and interpretation for accessing administrative and judicial institutions
Translation and interpretation for accessing hospitals, health centers, police stations, schools, and other public institutions
Emergency support translation and interpretation in crisis situations
Other translation and interpretation tasks requested by individuals or institutions directly or indirectly supporting multicultural families
Project Procedure
Procedures according to the Application Method
In-person: Immediate service is provided to the applicant; however, if immediate processing is not possible due to a wait list or prior appointments, the applicant submits an application form for next appointment
Phone and email: Applications are processed sequentially considering other waiters or prior appointments
In-person service: Applications are accepted based on reservations until the day before. In case of an emergency, immediate in-person service is possible after approval from the center director
Translation and Interpretation Services Are Not Provided When:
the applicant makes repeated and continuous demands for unreasonable services;
an immigrant who does not have communication problems requests translation/interpretation services;
an individual and company intends to exploit the free service;
an institution or individual requests notarization; and
the applicant requests for translation/interpretation services involving potential disputes or legal liabilities.
